2. Admittedly the petitioner is a married woman and therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for any compassionate appointment. However, the 6th respondent, who is a stranger to their family, claiming to be the legal heir of the deceased employee has filed a writ petition before this court in WP(MD)No.15960 of 2026, wherein this court has passed the following order: “ 6.In the light of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, after issuing notice to the children of the first wife of the

3. There is no positive direction to the official respondents to consider the case of the 6th respondent for compassionate appointment. This court in fact has directed the 3rd respondent therein to provide notice to the 1st wife and the other legal heirs of the deceased employee and to take a call. Admittedly, the petitioner a married woman is not entitled for compassionate appointment. In view of the earlier order passed by this court, this court is not inclined to pass any further orders. It is upto the respondents to take a call by conducting an enquiry, ascertain the right of the parties and thereafter pass appropriate orders.
