ORDER

Asserting that the petitioner laid a pipeline at a depth of 3 feet across the Kanmoi connecting the petitioner's lands about 25 years ago, the petitioner has approached this Court to prevent the respondents from removing the pipeline.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the crops cultivated by the petitioner on his lands would be destroyed if the pipeline were to be removed. He further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to submit an appropriate application for permission.

3. Accepting notice on behalf of the respondents, Mr. R. Parthiban, learned Special Government Pleader, submits that it recently came to the notice of the Water Resources Department that the petitioner was unlawfully drawing water from the Kanmoi.
