ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the fair and decreetal order dated 18.08.2026 passed in IA No.3/2026 in OS No.18 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Cheyyur, wherein the application filed by the respondents/plaintiffs under Order VI Rule 17 of C.P.C., to amend the plaint, came to be allowed by the Court below.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and carefully perused the materials available on record and this Court also carefully went through the order passed by the Court below.
3. The respondents/plaintiffs filed the suit in O.S.No.18 of 2020 seeking for the relief of declaration of title, delivery of possession and for damages. Initially, the suit was filed in the year 2009 and subsequently, it was transferred to the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Cheyyur and renumbered as O.S.No.18 of 2020. The suit reached the stage of final arguments and the Court had listed the suit under the caption ‘For Clarification’ and at that stage, the present Interlocutory Application was filed by the plaintiffs under Order VI Rule 17 of C.P.C., to make the following amendment in the plaint.
