PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to make payment of arrears of pay and allowances in the regular scale of pay in the post of Assistant Community Organiser as already ordered with effect from 11.06.2009 and re-fix the petitioners seniority/date of regular appointment in the post of Assistant community Organiser with effect from 11.06.2009 instead of from 01.06.2015
and grant them all consequential benefits.

ORDER
This writ petition was filed in the year 2022, and till now the respondents have not chosen to file their counter affidavit. The prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition is to pay arrears of pay and allowances in the regular scale of pay in the post of Assistant Community Organiser as already ordered with effect from 11.06.2009 and re-fix the petitioners seniority / date of regular appointment in the post of Assistant community Organiser with effect from 11.06.2009 instead of from 01.06.2015 and grant them all consequential benefits. In this regard, a representation dated 10.09.2020 was addressed to the 2nd respondent and that representation is still pending before the 2nd respondent without any consideration.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the petitioners’ representation would be considered on its own merits
3. In such view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 10.09.2020 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate
