COMMON ORDER
These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expeditiously dispose of the appeals dated 30.03.2025 and 20.04.2024, filed by the petitioner for the Assessment Years (AY) 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-
24.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, being aggrieved by the assessment orders and the consequential penalty proceedings, the petitioner preferred three appeals before the appellate authority for three consecutive assessment years on 30.03.2025 and 20.04.2024 respectively. However, those appeals and the accompanying petitions have not yet been taken on file and remain pending. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent for the expeditious disposal of the appeals.
3. In response, Mr.A.N.R.Jayaprathap, learned Junior Standing Counsel accepting notice on behalf of the respondent, submits that the appeals

filed by the petitioner will be considered and disposed of within a period of six months.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the appeals filed by the petitioner dated 30.03.2025 and 20.04.2024 respectively and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law. This exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and affording them an opportunity of a personal hearing.
