PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to permit the petitioner's Mini Bus bearing registration No.TN.63 AT 6431 from operate up to Karaikudi Old Bus Stand grant of extension of mini bus permit under the New Comprehensive Scheme by considering the petitioner's application dated 08.09.2026.

ORDER
The petitioner is a mini-bus operator. After submitting a representation/application dated 08.09.2026 for the extension of the mini- bus permit pertaining to vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-63-AT-6431, the petitioner seeks a mandamus for the consideration thereof.
2. Accepting notice for both the respondents, Mr.R.Parthiban, learned Special Government Pleader, submits that the representation/application dated 08.09.2026 would be considered and disposed of by the first respondent within 8 weeks.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation/application dated 08.09.2026 within 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
