ORDER
After applying for a fresh passport on 19.08.2026, the petitioner seeks a direction in relation thereto.
2. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the first respondent. Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice for the second respondent.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent submits that the matter is at the FIR stage and that no charge sheet has been filed till date.
4. Considering that no charge sheet has been filed, the first respondent is directed to consider the application for issuance of passport and dispose of the same within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
