ORDER

The present writ petition is filed seeking to quash the order of the first respondent viz., the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani, Dindigul in Na.Ka.No. 4612/2017/A7, dated 28.08.2026 and consequently to direct the second respondent Tahsildar, Vedasandur to restore Joint Patta No.908 in the names of the petitioner (Ayyadurai) and his co-sharers in respect of the lands measuring 1.55.00 Hectares in S.Nos. 4/2, 5/2A1, 5/5, 5/6, and 5/9 situated at Ayyalur Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Heard Mr.M.Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

3. Perusal of the impugned order would clearly show that as against the order of the first respondent, alternate remedy of revision is available before the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul.

WP(MD) No. 29610 of 2026

4. Considering the fact that an efficacious alternate remedy of revision is available with the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul, the present writ petition challenging the order of the first respondent, in the view of this Court, could not be entertained.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order impugned before the revisional authority as had been indicated in the impugned order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. 14-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No ABR To
