PRAYER: S-2 Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, call for the records related to the Suspension Order No.3995/SJ1/2025
dated 04.11.2025 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service and grant all the service and monetary benefits for the suspension period within a time limit to be fixed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

O R D E R
The petitioner, Superintendent-incharge of the Sub Jail, Usilampatti, with a grievance that he has been kept under suspension for a prolonged period, submitted a representation and also filed this writ petition.
2. Today (14.10.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, on written instructions submits that the order of suspension has been revoked by order dated, 21.01.2026.
3. Recording the aforesaid submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 14-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order __________
