ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “ directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation made through his counsel dated 25.7.226 and direct the respondents to provide access to the property morefully described in the schedule annexed to the petition.”

2. The petitioner would submit that the subject property was originally purchased by M/s. Govindaraja Mudaliyar and Sons under a registered sale deed bearing Document No.2536 of 1973 on the file of the Joint Sub-Registrar, Kancheepuram, and was subsequently allotted to the petitioner under a partition deed registered as Document No.7108 of 2013 on the file of the Joint Registrar- IV, Kancheepuram.

3. The petitioner would further submit that ingress and egress to the subject property have been available only through the railway premises since its inception. However, the Railway Department has recently constructed a wall along the boundary of the subject property, thereby completely blocking access to the property. In this regard, the petitioner issued a legal notice dated 28.08.2025 through his counsel, to which no reply was received. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.07.2026 requesting the respondents to address the issue. By a reply dated 13.07.2026, the respondents

WP No. 41019 of 2026

sought certain documents, which the petitioner duly furnished along with a further representation dated 25.07.2026. However, no action has been taken by the respondents to date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 25.07.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
