ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to expeditiously dispose of the appeal dated 18.03.2026, filed by the petitioner for the Assessment Year (AY) 2024-25.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, being aggrieved by the Assessment Order and the consequential penalty proceedings, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the appellate authority on 18.03.2026, along with an application to condone a delay of 12 days in filing the same. He further submits that the petitioner also filed a stay petition on 03.08.2026. However, the appeal and the accompanying petitions have not yet been taken on file and remain pending. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent for the expeditious disposal of the appeal.
