Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 1 to 5, particularly the Respondents 3 to 5, to consider the petitioners representations dated 10.06.2026 and 15.07.2026, conduct an immediate inspection and enquiry into the alleged unauthorised excavation and removal of red soil from the petitioners property bearing Plot No.183, comprised in Survey Nos.223/4B and 223/4A (Part), situated at Vijayalakshmi Nagar, Nallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, and Take appropriate action in accordance with law to prevent any further unauthorised digging, excavation or removal of soil from the said property, within a time frame to be fixed by this Honorable Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “ directing the Respondents 1 to 5, particularly the Respondents 3 to 5, to consider the petitioners representations dated 10.06.2026 and 15.07.2026, conduct an immediate inspection and enquiry into the alleged unauthorised excavation and removal of red soil from the petitioners property bearing Plot No.183, comprised in Survey Nos.223/4B and 223/4A (Part), situated at Vijayalakshmi Nagar, Nallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, and Take appropriate action in accordance with law to prevent any further unauthorised digging, excavation or removal of soil from the said property, within a time frame to be fixed by this Honorable Court.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleaded, on instructions, submitted that, pursuant to the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking intervention and action to prevent further unauthorised excavation and removal of soil from his property, the Assistant Director, Geology and Mining Department, Thiruvallur, had issued directions to the Tahsildar to conduct an enquiry and submit a report. The learned Special Government Pleaded also submitted that further action would be taken upon receipt of the said report.
