ORDER
The petitioner applied for a passport on 03.07.2026. Because the said application was not acted upon by citing a pending FIR, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2. Mrs.M.Anbarasi, learned Central Government Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the first respondent. Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice for the respondents 2 and 3.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 2 and 3 points out that a charge sheet was filed in C.C.No.650 of 2026 before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Kulithurai.
4. In view of the charge sheet being filed and cognizance being taken, the petitioner should approach the Judicial Magistrate-I,
