ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of his representation dated 21.09.2026, seeking issuance of patta in his name in respect of a property measuring 3½ cents, together with a house measuring 1,525 sq.ft., situated at Ward-D, New Survey No.6/36, Old Survey No.D8/21, Nagercoil North Town, Agastheeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. Even though the petitioner had approached this Court to consider his representation for grant of patta, it is his claim that the application could not be uploaded online, as the revenue record reflects the same to
WP(MD) No. 29537 of 2026 be a “Government poramboke land”. However, relying upon a sale deed under which his father purchased through a registered sale deed as early as in the year 1959 and that a settlement deed had been executed by the petitioner's father in favour of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.
