PRAYER: S-4. Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the respondent 3 to 6 to appoint the petitioner as a Nominal Muster Roll (NMR) worker in their respective departments, or to provide the petitioner with any other suitable employment, in view of his past service as an NMR Worker during the period from 2014 to 2021, by considering the petitioners representations dated 24.08.2026, within such time as may be framed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

The petitioner, with a grievance that his representation, dated 24.08.2026, seeking employment as Nominal Muster Roll has not been considered, has filed this writ petition.

2. Mr.M.Mahaboob Athiff, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submits that the petitioner cannot claim that he has to be accommodated in a particular place as a NMR, as a matter of right. The request of this petitioner has already been rejected, vide proceedings, dated 10.09.2026. A copy of the rejection order is placed before this Court and also served on the petitioner.
