ORDER

The petitioner challenges an order passed by the Tahsildar, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai, under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 primarily on the ground that there has been a declaration of title by the authority concerned.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. A perusal of the impugned order would indicate that the Tahsildar had not declared title, but had only reiterated an award passed by the Lok Adalat. In that regard, this Court is of the view that it is for the petitioner to work out efficacious remedy as available under Section 11 of the said Act.

4. With the aforesaid liberty, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed. 13-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No ABR To
