ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed by the sole accused in Spl.SC.No.12/2025, on the file of the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein he is charged with the offence under Sections 5(l), 5(j)(ii), 6 & 5(n) of POCSO Act, 2012 and Section 366 of IPC, 1860.
2. The date of birth of the victim is 31.07.2007 and she attained majority on 31.07.2025. After attaining majority, she had married with the sole accused and the marriage has been registered before the Sub Registrar Office, Vadamadurai, Dindigul District on 07.10.2025.
3. Today, the victim and her mother / defacto complainant are present before this Court, and they requested the Court to quash the charge sheet in view of the marriage of the victim with the sole accused.

4. Considering the marital life of the victim, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:-
a) The charge sheet in Spl.SC.No.12/2025, on the file of the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul, stands quashed.
b) The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order.
