ORDER
Assessment sheets were issued to the petitioner in respect of Assessment No.115/055/903562 and Assessment No.115/055/902028. After submitting representations in relation thereto, the petitioner has approached this Court to set aside the impugned assessment sheets and to direct reassessment.
2. Mr.S.I.Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for the first respondent, and Mrs.S.Devasena, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for respondents 2 and 3.
3. Learned Standing Counsel for the second and third respondents submits that the petitioner is in a position to raise objections to the __________

WP(MD) No. 29028 of 2026 assessment sheets and that assessment orders would be issued after considering such objections.
4. The primary grievance of the petitioner is that the same building has been assessed under two assessments, although the entire building is currently being put to commercial use. Considering this objection, it is necessary that the Madurai City Municipal Corporation undertakes an inspection of the property before issuing an assessment order.
5. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:
(i) The petitioner is permitted to submit additional objections, if any, to the assessment sheets.
(ii) The Madurai City Municipal Corporation shall undertake an inspection of the property within two weeks from the date of receipt of objections, if any, from the petitioner.
(iii) After undertaking such inspection, assessment orders shall be issued in accordance with law within three months from the date of undertaking such inspection.
(iv) If aggrieved by such assessments, the petitioner may __________
