PRAYER:
Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to survey the property comprised in Survey No.
576/9G to an extent of 21 cents situated in Annamalaipudur Melamaruthappapuram Panchayat.V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District with the help of 4th respondents within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for Respondents 1 to 3 and learned counsel for State of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the 4th respondent.
2. Considering the limited sought for in the Writ Petition, notice to the 5th respondent is dispensed with.
3. This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to survey the property comprised in Survey No. 576/9G to an extent of 21 cents situated in Annamalaipudur Melamaruthappapuram Panchayat.V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District with the help of 4th respondent.
4. Even though the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey the property, a procedure has been prescribed for submitting an online application in respect of the subject matter of the present writ __________

WP(MD) No. 29374 of 2026 petition. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to submit an online application before the 3rd respondent. Upon receipt of such application, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the 5th respondent, and any other interested persons, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. It is made clear that the order passed and the proceedings undertaken pursuant thereto would not confer any right to possession of the property if the same is in the hands of third parties.
