ORDER
One Mr.S.Badri Narayanan was the poojari in Sri Arulmigu Thiruvannamalai Srinivasa Perumal Swamy Temple, Andal Sannathi Street, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District. He was placed under suspension in relation to the alleged sex scandal on the premises of the temple. The said suspension order was issued in 2018. Later, under proceedings issued in 2021, the suspension was revoked on the condition that he should behave
WP(MD) No. 31255 of 2025 properly and not indulge in activities prejudicial to the temple. After submitting representations requesting that disciplinary proceedings be initiated against the said poojari, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

After handing over a copy of the order revoking the suspension, learned Government Advocate for the first to third respondents submits that the suspension order was issued in 2018 and the revocation order was issued in 2021. At this distant point of time, he submits that further action cannot be taken in relation to an incident that occurred in 2018.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner counters by submitting that the conduct complained of is serious and affects all the devotees of the temple.
4. As submitted by the learned Government Advocate for the first to third respondents, the suspension was revoked in 2021. About five years have elapsed since the revocation and about eight years since the incident complained of. In these circumstances, it is not in the interest of justice to resurrect the matter at this distant point of time. By leaving it open to the petitioner to lodge a complaint in case of any other misconduct by the
