ORDER
Today, on this Court taking up the contempt petition for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Division Bench vide order dated 01.10.2026 in CMP.NO.13407 of 2024 in W.A.Sr.No.78914 of 2024 while condoning the delay has kept in abeyance the contempt proceedings.

2. By submitting as above, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court, a copy of the order passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench.
3. Since, the order which is the subject matter of the present contempt petition, is a subject matter of the writ appeal and the Division Bench of this Court having kept in abeyance the contempt proceedings, this Court is of the view that by keeping the contempt proceedings pending till adjudication of writ appeal, no useful purpose would be served.
4. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.
