2. Originally the petitioners herein were arrayed as Accused Nos.6 and 8 in C.C.No.485/2015 on the file of Judicial Magistrate/Additional Mahila Court, Dindigul. Since the petitioners were permanently residing at Singapore, they have not appeared before the court and the case was split up and the trial in C.C.No.485 of 2015 proceeded in accordance with law. All the prosecution witnesses have turned hostile and the other accused persons have been acquitted by the trial court on 19.06.2024.

3. The split up case was renumbered as C.C.No.202 of 2024 as against the petitioners herein.

4. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, all the prosecution witnesses in C.C. No. 485/2015 have turned hostile, and the same position is applicable to the petitioners herein. He further submitted that the case arose out of a matrimonial dispute between the first accused and the defacto complainant. The petitioners, being permanent residents of Singapore, have no connection whatsoever with the allegations arising from the matrimonial dispute between the first accused and the defacto complainant. __________
