ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the complainant in S.T.C.No.596 of 2024, on the file of the learned Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level, Karur, seeking expeditious disposal of the case which arises under Section 138 and 141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, so far, P.W.1 and P.W.2 have not been cross-examined. In the meantime, the accused had filed M.P.No.26 of 2026 for reception of additional documents, for which a counter has been filed by the petitioner on 19.08.2026. Since, two years have lapsed, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal.
3. Considering the above said facts, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.596 of 2024, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
