vide proceedings in Ref.Sa.Thu.A5.1194, as per the 12(3)
Settlement under Industrial Dispute Act 1947 and to disburse yearly increment benefits and in furtherance to advance the Petitioners review benefits as per the said settlements by considering his representation dated 22.03.2025 and for other reliefs and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

O R D E R
Challenging the order of punishment, the petitioner, a Senior Grade Driver of the respondent Corporation has approached this Court in the year 2025.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to a criminal case in Crime No.187 of 2007, __________

WP(MD) No. 12845 of 2025 the petitioner was issued with a charge memo on 04.05.2007. After conducting an enquiry, the petitioner was imposed with a punishment of stoppage of annual increment for a period of three years, with cumulative effect, vide proceedings, dated 18.12.2007, despite the criminal case ended in acquittal. Aggrieved over the said punishment, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority. However, the appeal has not yet been decided. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to revise/set aside the order of punishment.
3. Today(09.10.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents by referring to the proceedings, dated 11.09.2026 submits that the request of the petitioner to revise/set aside the punishment imposed on him has been rejected. A copy of the rejection order is placed before this Court and served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. __________
