ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the impugned order passed by the second respondent, dated 03.06.2026 and to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.03.2026.
2. Heard Mr.M.Saravanan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Siva Thilakar, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order proposed to be passed, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
3. By way of impugned order, it had been informed to the petitioner that pursuant to the award passed, steps have been taken for depositing the award amount before the appropriate Court and it had also mentioned e-filing ATN number. However, it is the case of the petitioner that the same had been returned for improper presentation before the Court concerned.
4. From the perusal of the records, it is revealed that the lands of the petitioner had been acquired and there are rival claims with regard to the payment of compensation. In that regard, this Court is of the view that the competent authority can be directed to rectify the defects and make the deposit into the appropriate Court.
5. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to rectify the defects and make the deposit into the appropriate Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the petitioner is at liberty to seek for apportionment of the compensation before the Court concerned.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No cmr
