ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s online application dated 10.09.2026 (Application No. 026/0123/13/006633) and consequently conduct a land survey, demarcate, and fix boundaries in respect of his property situated in Survey No. 715/2A, Periakottai Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Heard Mr.A.Chandrakumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Venkatesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the subject property and in order to survey and fix boundaries for the subject property, he has made an online application to the respondent authority on 10.09.2026. Since the said application has not been considered till date, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought in the Writ Petition, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions:

“The second respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.09.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.”

5. It is made clear that the order passed and the proceedings undertaken pursuant thereto would not confer any right to possession of the property if the same is in the hands of third parties.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 09-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No cmr To
