PRAYER: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner’s punja land in S.Nos.152/2B and 152/3B situated at Pulinyagulam Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District and to fix the boundaries within the time period that may be fixed by this Court based on his online application dated 26.08.2026.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner’s punja land in S.Nos.152/2B and 152/3B situated at Puliyangulam Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District and to fix the boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.G.Hari Haran, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter is taken up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petition mentioned village, namely, Puliyangulam Village now stands aligned with Manamadurai Taluk and that if an application is made to the Head Surveyor, Manamadurai Taluk, the same would be considered by the said authority in accordance with law.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application for survey of the subject property before the Head Surveyor, Mandamadurai Taluk by following due procedure and if any such application is being made by the petitioner, the Head Surveyor, Mandamadurai Taluk is directed to process the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
