ORDER

The present petition has been filed by A2 in CC No.127 or 2025 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Ilaiyangudi seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein, he is charged with the offence under Sections 294(b), 341, 506(2) IPC and 326 of I.P.C.

2. Perusal of the charge sheet reveals that the petitioner along with the A1 are said to have intercepted the defacto complaint, abused him and caused injuries to him with an aruval.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, he was not present in the scene of occurrence and he has been falsely implicated.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side / counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

5. As could be seen from the charge sheet, specific overt acts are alleged as against the petitioner that he had waylaid the defacto component and caused cut injuries. In such circumstances, this Court does not find any reason to interfere in the charge sheet. There are no merits in the petition.

CRL OP(MD) No. 22975 of 2026

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
