ORDER

Petitioners have filed the instant O.P. for grant of Letters of Administration in respect of the property and credits of the deceased Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi, who died intestate on 10.07.2014 as a spinster. The petitioners are the only surviving heirs of the deceased being the children of the only brother of Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi, by name (late) Govindasamy.

2. The petitioners have jointly come forward seeking for grant of letters of administration in respect of immovable property left behind by the deceased Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi, who died intestate leaving behind the schedule mentioned property. The petitioners have stated that excepting the petitioners, the deceased Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi had no other legal heir. Therefore, there is none else interested in the estate of the deceased Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi, who died as a spinster. Parents of the deceased Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi also predeceased her.

3. The petitioners have effected paper publication. The third petitioner examined himself as P.W.1 and has marked Exs.P1 to P8. On going through the petition averments as well as the proof affidavit of the third petitioner and after hearing the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners, I am satisfied that the petitioners have made out a case for grant of letters of administration without Will of the deceased Ms.E.Dhanalakshmi as prayed for.

OP No. 81 of 2026
