ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2026 seeking registration of the death of his deceased brother and to issue the death certificate within the time to be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that his brother Antony Charles @ George Push had met with an accident at Tiruppur on 31.01.2025, and had succumbed to his injuries. His death was supported by FIR and postmortem report. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite his several request, the death of his brother Antony Charges @ George Push was not registered and the respondents are not taking steps for registration. Due to the non-registration of his brother's death and non-issuance of death certificate, the petitioner is not able to claim compensation before the competent Court. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid relief.

WP No. 40138 of 2026
