PRAYER: (S-3) Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings in Proc.No.A1/52070/2025 dated 02.09.2025, and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to transfer the Petitioner to the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Madurai or in the alternative, at any nearby laboratory to Virudhunagar District and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

The petitioner, a Scientific Officer of the Regional Forensic Laboratory has filed this writ petition, challenging the order of transfer.
2. Today(08.10.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pending this writ petition, the petitioner has been promoted as Assistant Director and posted at Madurai. Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. __________
