PRAYER:
Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing Respondents 1 to 3
to consider and pass orders on the Petitioners representation dated 05.08.2026 regarding the issuance of Patta in the name of the Petitioner for the land measuring 4 Cents comprised in Survey No. 107/17, Kallathi Village, Mudikarai Panchayat, Kalaiyarkovil -Taluk, Sivagangai District, within a time-frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Heard learned counsel appearing on either side.
2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing Respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the Petitioners representation dated 05.08.2026 regarding the issuance of Patta in the name of the Petitioner for the land measuring 4 Cents comprised in Survey No. 107/17, Kallathi Village, Mudikarai Panchayat, Kalaiyarkovil -Taluk, Sivagangai District.
4. Even though the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to consider his representation for the grant of patta, a procedure has been prescribed for making an online application in respect of the subject matter involved in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to submit an online application before the jurisdictional Tahsildar. Upon receipt of such online application, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
