PRAYER:
Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS to direct the 2nd Respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner Vellaichamy S/o.Alagu for the properties situated in a survey No.65/7 in patta No.4197
situated at Piranpatti Village, Singampunari Taluk Sivagangai District, based on petitioners application No. 2026/0105/23/027106 dated 01.10.2026 within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to directing the 2nd Respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner Vellaichamy S/o.Alagu for the properties situated in a survey No.65/7 in patta No.4197 situated at Piranpatti Village, Singampunari Taluk Sivagangai District, based on petitioners application No. 2026/0105/23/027106 dated 01.10.2026.
4. When the matter was taken up, Mr.Mahendrapathy and Mr.K.R.Badurus Zaman, learned counsel appearing for the interested parties, would submit that the interests of third parties are also involved and that the present Writ Petition has been filed without impleading them.
5. Even though the petitioner has sought a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue patta based on his representation dated 01.10.2026, this Court is of the view that the limited relief of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2026 could be granted.

6. In that regard, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2026 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any interested persons, as expeditiously as possible.
