ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents.

2. The petitioner alleges that in survey No.5A3 Semmampatti Pudur Village, there are encroachments. According to the petitioner, the said survey number is a public pathway.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader on the other hand demonstrated before us that survey No.5A3 is a patta land standing in the name of as many as four individuals. In these circumstances, the authority will not have any jurisdiction to interfere. The petitioner's remedy lies elsewhere. If at all, he may have to file an easement suit. With the aforesaid liberty, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. (G.R.S.,J.) (M.D.S.,J.) 08-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No PMU
