ORDER
Challenging the order of the second respondent dated 24.09.2024, by way of which the second respondent had rejected the petitioner's application for issuance of natham patta, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The reasons for rejection had been attempted to be substantiated by the counter that has been filed in that regard. The learned Additional Government Pleader on the strength of the counter, would support the impugned order by contesting that the petitioner had only submitted an unregistered sale deed.
5. On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, pointing out to the typed set of papers, would submit that the said document had been registered as Document No.1622/1995 on the file of the Sub-Registrar's Office-II, Dindigul. Further, the appeal filed by the petitioner would also indicate that a copy of the document along with the encumbrance certificate issued in that regard was also filed. If the encumbrance certificate had been verified, the second respondent could have indicated that the said document was a registered document and such exercise has not been carried out by him. In view of the above, this Court has no hesitation in setting aside the order impugned herein.
6. Accordingly, this Court allows this Writ Petition, sets aside the impugned order and remits the matter back to the second respondent to
