ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 05.02.2020 and 05.10.2020 seeking appointment to the post of Gangman or any other post in the respondent Corporation.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, while participating in the selection process, the petitioner sustained an injury and, on that ground, he was not considered for appointment. Explaining his grievance, the petitioner submitted representations to the respondents on 05.02.2020 and 05.10.2020. However, the said representations have remained pending consideration.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, in all fairness, would submit that the petitioner’s representations would be considered on their own merits and in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representations dated

05.02.2020 and 05.10.2020 on their own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
