Order

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: “To direct respondents, particularly the 2nd respondent, to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 20.07.2026, which was received by the respondent authorities on 28.07.2026, seeking issuance of Legal Heir Certificate in respect of the petitioner’s deceased father Late Thangaraj S/o.Ponmuthu, who died on 11.01.2026, by conducting due enquiry in accordance with law and after providing reasonable opportunity to all concerned.”

2. The petitioner submits that she is the daughter of late Thangaraj. The Petitioner's mother late Vijayakumari, had already died on 01.09.2021. After the demise of her father, the petitioner requires a Legal Heir Certificate for establishing her legal relationship with the deceased and for taking appropriate steps in respect of her legitimate share and interest in the properties and estate left by her deceased father. Therefore, she made a representation dated 20.07.2026 to the 1st respondent seeking issuance of legal heir certificate. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.
