O R D E R
The petitioner, Secretary of A-2996, Othakadai Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, Madurai/the third respondent retired from service on 31.12.2024. The petitioner, with a grievance that the gratuity amount and other terminal benefits due to him were not settled to him, has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the terminal benefits due to him.
2. Today(07.10.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for admission, Mr.M.Mahaboob Athiff, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submits that the request of this petitioner has been rejected, in view of the pendency of a surcharge proceedings as against him. A copy of the proceedings, dated 05.10.2026 is also placed before this Court to that effect. __________

Considering the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader that the request of this petitioner has already been considered and rejected by the respondents, in view of the pending surcharge proceedings and recording the proceedings, dated 05.10.2026, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
