ORDER
By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

This Writ Petition has been filed for Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the land in Survey No.121/4 with an extent of 0.7.50 hectares and Survey No.130/1A with and extent of 0.11.50 hectares situated at A.Tharaikudi Village, Nagaratharkurichi Post, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District within a stipulated time fixed by this Court as well as to direct the 3rd respondent to give adequate police protection during survey conducting by the 1st and 2nd respondents based on the petitioner's representations dated 06.04.2026 and 10.09.2026.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that whenever attempts have been made for surveying the lands belonging to the petitioner, objections have been made by the fourth respondent and she had impeded in the performance of official duty of the second respondent.
4. In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to grant necessary police protection to the second respondent in considering the application of the petitioner dated 06.04.2026, as requested on the cost being made by the petitioner in that regard. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 06.04.2026 with the protection of the third respondent within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in consonance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. It is made clear that the order passed and the proceedings undertaken pursuant thereto would not confer any right to possession of the property if the same is in the hands of third parties.
