PRAYER: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue Patta in petitioner name in respect of the property in Survey Nos.10/3, 79/6, 184/5, 314/7, 10/08, 12/01, 57/10 and 60/1
situated at Keela Melkudi village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's application to the respondent dated 27.08.2026 and 15.09.2026.

2. The petitioner had approached this Court seeking for issuance of Mandamus for grant of patta in respect of the property in Survey Nos.10/3, 79/6, 184/5, 314/7, 10/08, 12/01, 57/10 and 60/1 situated at Keela Melkudi village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District based upon his representations dated 27.08.2026 and 15.09.2026.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent would submit that an application for grant of patta should be made by registering the application on the online portal.
4. Considering the fact that a representation has been made, the petitioner is directed to make an application on the online portal for the relief that is sought for and when such an application is made, the same shall be considered by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
