O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam,J.) This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 8 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2025 and to take appropriate action for removal of encroachments made by the private persons in respect of the government land which is classified as Lake and Tharisu measuring an extent of 69 acres, comprised in S.Nos.21/1 to 21/8A, 22, 25/6 (Lake) and 25/10 (Tharisu), situated at Nangilikondan Village, Villupuram District.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1 to R6 and R8 would submit that enforcement actions have already been launched. Thus, Authorities require sometime to remove the entire encroachment.
3. In view of the said submission, competent Authorities are directed to remove encroachments by following procedures as

contemplated under relevant provisions of Act and Rules, by affording opportunity of hearing to all parties. The entire exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition is disposed of.
