ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the son of deceased Jeyabala Murugan through second wife Mrs.Devi. The learned counsel submitted that since the petitioner is the son through second marriage, he and the first respondent, who is the first wife of his father, are entitled to have all terminal benefits and in this regard, he has given a representation on 03-08-2022.

2. Though the said contention was totally objected by the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent, in all fairness, submitted that they would consider the petitioner's representation dated 03-08-2022 on its own merits and in accordance with the law.

3. In such view of the above factual position, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court would like to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03-08-2022 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with the law within a period of eight

(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due opportunity to the 1st respondent.
