2. The petitioner would submit that she has been involved in various activities for the welfare of the minority community for about 30 years. She was selected as a resource person and was also given the responsibility of Honorary Joint Secretary of the Coimbatore District Christian Women Aid Society. During her service, she found that some of the persons were not working for the welfare of the community but were engaged in illegal activities in collusion with one Sekar and Louis. In this regard, she had given a complaint dated 17.05.2024 against the said Sekar to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. Based on the said complaint, an enquiry was conducted and the petitioner had appeared before the Enquiry Officer. In these circumstances, the petitioner received the impugned orders dated 25.09.2025 and 18.11.2025 stating that she had been removed from the position of Member and Honorary Joint Secretary of the Association. She contends that the orders were passed based on various complaints and allegations against her, without affording her an opportunity of hearing. Challenging the said impugned orders, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. It is seen that the petitioner has been removed from the post of Honorary Joint Secretary of the Coimbatore District Christian Women Aid Society based on certain undisclosed complaints. The impugned order dated 25.09.2025 lists 10 complaints against the petitioner, which, according to the respondents, formed the basis for removing her from the said post. According to the petitioner, this action is only a counterblast to the complaints made by her against certain officials working in the District Christian Women Aid Society, Coimbatore. Further, the impugned orders have been passed without affording her an opportunity to present her case.

5. Therefore, without going into the merits of the case and on a mere perusal of the impugned order dated 25.09.2025 of the first respondent, it is clear that the petitioner has not been put on notice, nor has her explanation been called for, before she was removed from the said post. This is a blatant violation of the principles of natural justice. On this

ground, the impugned orders are quashed and the writ petition is allowed. The matter is remitted back to the 1st respondent for fresh consideration. The 1st respondent shall furnish copies of the complaints that have been made against the petitioner, giving her sufficient time to submit her response, and thereafter, within six weeks, pass a speaking order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 06-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No SRN To
