ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner challenges issuance of Patta in favour of the Madurai Corporation.

3. The petitioner’s grievance is that he is the incumbent patta holder and that mutation was made to his prejudice without his knowledge or without notice to him.

WP(MD) No. 18126 of 2025

4. The contentions are no doubt formidable. But then, the petitioner has to show that he was the incumbent pattadar. Patta had been granted in favour of the Corporation in respect of survey No.297/2B1A. The petitioner is holding patta in respect of survey No.297/2B1B. This has nothing to do with the patta issued in favour of the Corporation and even there is no overlapping. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. (G.R.S.,J.) (M.D.S.,J.) 06-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No PMU To
