ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to
5.
2. The writ petitioner is a resident of Nagercoil. He feels aggrieved by the encroachments committed on Nagercoil-Thuckalay National Highway, particularly, in the vicinity of Villukuri flume bridge.

3. We direct the fifth respondent herein to conduct survey. Notices will be issued to all the interested persons. If the survey results indicate that there are encroachments, then it is the duty of the fourth respondent to take action as per law. All the encroachments highlighted by the petitioner shall be removed by following due process of law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
