ORDER
This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1492 days in filing the civil revision petition.
2. It is seen from the typed set of papers that the impugned order was passed on 15.06.2020. The civil revision petition has been filed by the petitioner only on 30.06.2026. In the affidavit filed in support of the condone delay petition, it was stated that the impugned order was passed during COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the petitioner could not present the revision immediately. It is further submitted that after COVID-19 was over, the petitioner was suffering from serious medical complications and hence, he could not present the revision immediately.
3. It is a matter of common knowledge that COVID-19 was over during February 2022. The petitioner has no valid reason for explaining the delay from February 2022 to June 2026. A vague averment has been made in the affidavit as if the petitioner was suffering from serious medical complications, hence, prevented from filing the revision in time. The petitioner has not produced any medical documents to substantiate the medical complications from February 2022 to June 2026. A vague allegation in the affidavit without mentioning the details of medical complication is not sufficient to condone the inordinate delay of 1492 days. Hence, the petitioner has not made out sufficient cause to condone the delay. Accordingly, the civil miscellaneous petition is dismissed. The civil revision petition is rejected in SR stage itself.
