ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, Tahsildar, Uthangarai has addressed a letter to the Government on 05.10.2026. Reading of the letter would show that authorities have identified encroachments in the Government Poramboke land. The details of the encroachments have also been stated in the said letter. Tahsildar has stated that he will remove the encroachments within a period of four weeks.
2. That being the written instructions given by Tahsildar, official respondents 1 to 3 are directed to remove encroachments in the Government Poramboke land by following procedure as contemplated under the statutes and rules in force within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
