PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent i.e., the Additional Chief Secretary, Finance (Pension) Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the appeal preferred by the petitioner regarding payment of medical expenses incurred by him i.e., Rs.1,57,188/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Seven Thousand One Hundred and Eighty Eight Only) as per Medical Attendance Rules and as per the law laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court in the case reported in (2018) 5 MLJ 317 (SC), within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
