ORDER
The petitioner, who is working as an B.T.Assistant in a Government Higher Secondary School, Pudukkottai has submitted a representation seeking transfer to Kanyakumari District and has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus.
2. When this Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents by referring to the proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.033241/C3/E2/2026 dated 21.09.2026, submits that the request of the petitioner has been considered and rejected and the said proceeding has already been furnished to petitioner. A copy of the proceedings is also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner today.

3. Admittedly, the petitioner cannot claim transfer as a matter of right and seek a posting at a particular place. Be that as it may, by recording the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader and the proceedings dated 21.09.2026, this Writ Petition is closed.
