O R D E R
The petitioner's GST registration was cancelled on 17.03.2024 on the ground of non-commencement of business within six months from the date of registration. After submitting the representation dated 01.08.2026 for revocation of the cancellation, the petitioner has approached this Court for a mandamus.
2. The petitioner has applied for revocation long after the expiry of time limit specified in that regard in the applicable GST statutes. Therefore, the direction requested for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
3. Under these circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of by leaving it open for the petitioner to challenge the cancellation of registration in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. 05.10.2026 JEN NCC : No Index : No _____________
